Here's the edited review:
A dishonest Vietnamese employee claimed she had been there for so long, stating that the package discount would not be applied if the amount spent exceeded the balance in the package before the discount.
My sister and I returned to utilize the balance from our package, and it had been a while due to COVID (of course, we were mindful about hygiene).
$123 was just enough for two people’s classic gel mani-pedi; however, we were seated apart, and my sister was upsold with additional sea salt, a French tip, and a quick-dry coat, which sneakily added up to a higher cost. Had the discount been applied, our service would have been $113, which, with our $123 balance, would have left us with a $10 balance for future package continuation.
It came as a shock that we needed to further top up with another $388 to enjoy the discount from our existing package.
We ended up paying $136, emptying our $123 balance WITHOUT DISCOUNT, plus an additional $13 cash.
To the boss of Lily Nails, it was extremely rude and discomforting for this Vietnamese employee to loudly try to shame us in front of other customers and manicurists into continuing the package. She kept repeating “I’m here for 4 years” and similar excuses. Hello?
From what we knew, having visited this place for many years, Ah-Ying was the longest-serving lady with great skills and humble too. Thus, we continued our package with your shop. The other lady who just returned from China did a great job too; my nails were still well-wrapped after 3 weeks with clean cuticles. It was a pity for our return experience to be spoiled by a rowdy, loud Vietnamese employee.
And it was very rude of her to put other shops’ fellow Vietnamese employees down and gossip about them while doing my sister’s nails. My sister had to request her to sanitize her hands when she didn't have the decency to do so after sneezing. She even retorted that she did ART tests weekly. 🙄
We didn't have to talk to humans who barked, so we ended up deducting the full price without discount from our balance, discontinuing our package, and leaving your shop thereafter. Don’t try to act smart, act like a good salesperson, and give us all your sales talk. Your insincerity and rudeness are definitely a put-off, affecting all other manicurists’ hard work.
Oh, yes. And everyone’s feet will forever have “fungus infection” and will need medicated solution dropped onto them, otherwise they won’t recover and will spread to the rest of the nails. Please. I bought it before, and the fungus nail remained fungal for years. My other nails were fine.

I've been a loyal customer of this nail salon for a long time, and until recently, I had always been satisfied with their services. However, the experience I had over the past two months has been quite disappointing.
A couple of months ago, my nails were done poorly, but I decided to give the salon another chance. Unfortunately, my latest visit was even worse. The new technician accidentally cut my nail bed, causing it to bleed, and she also nicked my skin near the cuticle. To make matters worse, she had to stop and ask for help how to clip the cuticle properly. Shouldn't the staff be well-trained before starting to work on clients?
The technician also criticized the balance of my nails, claiming it was the reason for the poor result. However, the previous month, an experienced worker had done my nails perfectly without any issues. Given that I’m paying for a service, I expect it to be at least satisfactory. I couldn't relax during the process due to the discomfort, and the service took an unusually long time.
I hope the salon addresses these issues and ensures that all technicians meet the standards that have been a hallmark of their service in the past.

My experience was quite the opposite of most of the reviews. I was pleased with the mani-pedi services because the Vietnamese lady and her son who worked on me were quite gentle and skilful. I had a bad experience at other nail salons where they cut too deep and my nails bled. I had this concern, as this was my first time visiting this salon. They gave me clean and nice nails without hurting me. Prices were reasonable as well. Hope to have the same good experience when I return.

A basic gel mani-pedi cost $43. I went at 8 PM, and both girls attended to me. They had great skills compared to Vanity, the salon opposite their stall. They were nice enough to let me try a few colors to see which suited me better. I love the color on my fingers! :)

I’ve been with Lily Nails since 2020, and the truth is that the quality really depends on who your nail artist is. If you do walk in (which I usually do), it’s quite **hit and miss**.
As we can tell, my nails weren’t dried properly in my latest session and the polish on the 4th toe came off. The **manicure** is great, but some polish got on the skin. **To be honest**, I can't really complain for the price, but I've had better sessions.
The best artist is Ah Ying – not sure if I got her name right, but that’s what colleagues call her. She’s super efficient and fast. They’re not always at the shop, so if you want a certain manicurist, you need to tell them in advance.
I had an experience with the male manicurist today, and he seems very meticulous. There’s a lady with a brown bangle and a **braided** necklace – she’s okay too.
Generally, I’d recommend Classic Gel for both **manicure and pedicure** because the price now is $58, **if I recall correctly**. It’s $10 or $12 for a layer of hardener.
