I wish I had seen the Google reviews of this place before going. I randomly chanced upon the nail salon and went in because there weren't many people. This was a mistake, as the whole experience was very unpleasant.
Firstly, I asked the staff to recommend a red nail color tone that is suitable for my skin. One person said rudely, "Only you will know which color will suit you," indicating there was no need for them to recommend because I should be the one who knows. I'm not the professional here? Shouldn't you, who do this for a living, know which color would suit your customer better?
Secondly, the staff that attended to me was wiping off excess nail polish with her nails, and it was VERY painful. It felt like a knife slicing through my skin. And I had to endure it ten times for ten of my nails.
Thirdly, they provided me a basket of nail colors, and I picked out one that looked nice. Then, they told me that the nail color I picked had a $10 surcharge because it's a "special color." Why didn't they just tell me in the first place that certain colors were chargeable? It's so stupid.
What poor customer service. The reviews are real. Please DO NOT come here.
Go to another freaking salon because the customer service is probably better.

Look, the manicures are great, cheap, and pretty quick. But when you have two stores within blocks of each other with the same name and branding, you cannot turn around and say they are different businesses, and that a package purchased in one cannot be used in the other! Then they tell me they have no time to see me and push me off to the other shop to pay full price plus a fee to remove polish done at the other branch. I feel scammed and cheated!

"Not a comfortable place for nail services. Staff are eager to upsell, regardless of package or à la carte services. They can remember how much to charge you, but they cannot remember basic customer care. I saw a customer fall and trip when she came down from the platform. The staff was so eager to go to the cashier to key in the amount, and the rest of the staff who had served that customer just shouted out how much to key in. It was a disgrace. They had totally forgotten to help that customer down. I saw staff washing a cucumber and an oily food container at the tap. It was really dirty. What if the next customer put their feet on the oily sink? I won't go there anymore."

I still had a $98 credit balance, down from over $100 previously. However, they tried to hard-sell me a new package even though I still had credit remaining. The ladies were very persistent in hard-selling packages, especially after they had previously damaged my nails by buffing them down to a thin layer. I am not going to sign up with them again. Now I'm just waiting to use up my remaining balance.

I would give zero stars if I could, but I can't. Nail tech who did my nails did not even apologize for cutting and tearing my cuticle. It was burning and started bleeding after a while. Two hours later and still bleeding. Horrible.

Extremely bad service. I made an appointment the day before as a regular, yet still had to wait more than 30 minutes after arriving for my appointment because they accepted a group of three tourists (i.e., walk-ins). Even then, when a therapist became available, she tended to the tourists simply because they came together, instead of honouring my scheduled appointment slot. Don’t bother getting a package here, as this is the type of service you’ll get for committing to the shop; they’ll choose to entertain walk-ins since they’ve already got your business.

A dishonest Vietnamese employee claimed she had been there for so long, stating that the package discount would not be applied if the amount spent exceeded the balance in the package before the discount.
My sister and I returned to utilize the balance from our package, and it had been a while due to COVID (of course, we were mindful about hygiene).
$123 was just enough for two people’s classic gel mani-pedi; however, we were seated apart, and my sister was upsold with additional sea salt, a French tip, and a quick-dry coat, which sneakily added up to a higher cost. Had the discount been applied, our service would have been $113, which, with our $123 balance, would have left us with a $10 balance for future package continuation.
It came as a shock that we needed to further top up with another $388 to enjoy the discount from our existing package.
We ended up paying $136, emptying our $123 balance WITHOUT DISCOUNT, plus an additional $13 cash.
To the boss of Lily Nails, it was extremely rude and discomforting for this Vietnamese employee to loudly try to shame us in front of other customers and manicurists into continuing the package. She kept repeating “I’m here for 4 years” and similar excuses. Hello?
From what we knew, having visited this place for many years, Ah-Ying was the longest-serving lady with great skills and humble too. Thus, we continued our package with your shop. The other lady who just returned from China did a great job too; my nails were still well-wrapped after 3 weeks with clean cuticles. It was a pity for our return experience to be spoiled by a rowdy, loud Vietnamese employee.
And it was very rude of her to put other shops’ fellow Vietnamese employees down and gossip about them while doing my sister’s nails. My sister had to request her to sanitize her hands when she didn't have the decency to do so after sneezing. She even retorted that she did ART tests weekly. 🙄
We didn't have to talk to humans who barked, so we ended up deducting the full price without discount from our balance, discontinuing our package, and leaving your shop thereafter. Don’t try to act smart, act like a good salesperson, and give us all your sales talk. Your insincerity and rudeness are definitely a put-off, affecting all other manicurists’ hard work.
Oh, yes. And everyone’s feet will forever have “fungus infection” and will need medicated solution dropped onto them, otherwise they won’t recover and will spread to the rest of the nails. Please. I bought it before, and the fungus nail remained fungal for years. My other nails were fine.

I've been a loyal customer of this nail salon for a long time, and until recently, I had always been satisfied with their services. However, the experience I had over the past two months has been quite disappointing.
A couple of months ago, my nails were done poorly, but I decided to give the salon another chance. Unfortunately, my latest visit was even worse. The new technician accidentally cut my nail bed, causing it to bleed, and she also nicked my skin near the cuticle. To make matters worse, she had to stop and ask for help how to clip the cuticle properly. Shouldn't the staff be well-trained before starting to work on clients?
The technician also criticized the balance of my nails, claiming it was the reason for the poor result. However, the previous month, an experienced worker had done my nails perfectly without any issues. Given that I’m paying for a service, I expect it to be at least satisfactory. I couldn't relax during the process due to the discomfort, and the service took an unusually long time.
I hope the salon addresses these issues and ensures that all technicians meet the standards that have been a hallmark of their service in the past.

Manicurist, Jasmine, is patient and detailed when doing manicures. She is detailed in clearing cuticles and painting nails full and neat. The nail overlay makes my nails look full and nice. Thank you, Jasmine. Come try it yourself.

Can be good or average depending on the nail artist. Overall, not bad for the price. Some will try to hard-sell, regardless of the balance you have left in your package. An appointment should be made, or else you'll have to wait a long time. At peak hours, you'll still have to wait even if you have a prior appointment.

I have really dry and calloused feet, so I was hesitant to go into any nail salons and often settled with temporary measures on my own. One week ago, while walking around Bugis Street, I decided to visit a salon to get my nails looking better for CNY. Weiwei from Lily Nails Salon was friendly. She saw the condition of my feet but did not charge me extra for exfoliation. To be very honest, it wasn't quite an enjoyable process, with moments that felt rather unsettling. I'm not sure if it involved more than the usual preparation for my feet before the pedicure. Anyway, I managed to chat a bit with her and learned that her shop was one of the very first in the area. (There are many other shops in the vicinity offering the same services.) Nonetheless, I had an overall okay experience doing my nails at her salon. Weiwei was professional and efficient in cleaning the cuticles, removing callouses as much as she could, and finishing the nails. (Thus, 4 stars were given, with 1 star left for service improvement.)
I had a classic gel manicure and pedicure, with pictures shown one week after the visit. I paid $98 in total, including the CNY surcharge. (Pardon the condition of my feet)

A little difficult to find this place (Google leads you astray), but I eventually found it on the 3rd floor of what felt like a flea market. The service was quick and cheap (comparatively). I questioned their sanitary procedures, so I opted out of their use of tools to cut cuticles. It cost $53 to remove the gel on my hands and feet and replace it with a new colour. One lady spoke English, which made the process easy. Two ladies worked on me simultaneously, so I got out quickly.

My experience was quite the opposite of most of the reviews. I was pleased with the mani-pedi services because the Vietnamese lady and her son who worked on me were quite gentle and skilful. I had a bad experience at other nail salons where they cut too deep and my nails bled. I had this concern, as this was my first time visiting this salon. They gave me clean and nice nails without hurting me. Prices were reasonable as well. Hope to have the same good experience when I return.

A basic gel mani-pedi cost $43. I went at 8 PM, and both girls attended to me. They had great skills compared to Vanity, the salon opposite their stall. They were nice enough to let me try a few colors to see which suited me better. I love the color on my fingers! :)

I’ve been with Lily Nails since 2020, and the truth is that the quality really depends on who your nail artist is. If you do walk in (which I usually do), it’s quite **hit and miss**.
As we can tell, my nails weren’t dried properly in my latest session and the polish on the 4th toe came off. The **manicure** is great, but some polish got on the skin. **To be honest**, I can't really complain for the price, but I've had better sessions.
The best artist is Ah Ying – not sure if I got her name right, but that’s what colleagues call her. She’s super efficient and fast. They’re not always at the shop, so if you want a certain manicurist, you need to tell them in advance.
I had an experience with the male manicurist today, and he seems very meticulous. There’s a lady with a brown bangle and a **braided** necklace – she’s okay too.
Generally, I’d recommend Classic Gel for both **manicure and pedicure** because the price now is $58, **if I recall correctly**. It’s $10 or $12 for a layer of hardener.
